Neuroscientist Richard Davidson says “You can sculpt your brain just as you’d sculpt your muscles if you went to the gym . . . Our brains are continuously being sculpted, whether you like it or not, wittingly or unwittingly.”
The news item we will consider in this lesson tells of a new scientific study and its conclusions. Scientists have put prayer under the microscope. How have they done this? By studying the brain while people are praying they have made some interest discoveries which should lead to an interesting discussion in the study of this lesson. It is not just what we pray about that realizes the impact of our communication with God. We are benefactors of the impact of our own prayers – physically and spiritually.
