God is not required to follow a set pattern.  He often surprises us by doing wonderful things in places and in ways that we least expect.  This has been demonstrated many times, but more recently in His move among our military personnel.  Set in our ways, we expect revival to only come twice a year, lasting only one week or less, and taking place in our local church.  History proves our assumptions to be wrong.  If we will keep an open mind, God and history will offer us lessons that will help us to know better how to prepare our hearts for our own time of spiritual revival.
